From Idea to MVP in Six Weeks

You don't need a year and a huge budget to test your idea. Here's the lean process we use to take products from concept to a real, usable MVP.

The biggest risk for any new product isn't building it badly — it's building the wrong thing. The cure is to ship something real, fast, and learn from actual users.

Here's the six-week process we use to go from idea to a working MVP.

Week 1 — Discovery

We start by getting crystal clear on the problem:

  • Who is this for?
  • What's the single most important thing it must do?
  • What can we cut?

The goal is a tight scope. An MVP does one thing well, not ten things poorly.

Week 2 — Design

We turn the scope into wireframes, then a clean UI. Designing before building saves enormous time — it's much cheaper to move a button in Figma than in production code.

Weeks 3–5 — Build

This is where it comes together. We work in short cycles with weekly demos, so you always see progress and can steer. We build on modern, proven stacks (Next.js, React Native, Python) so the MVP can grow into a full product later — no throwaway code.

Week 6 — Launch & learn

We deploy, set up basic analytics, and get it in front of real users. Then the most important part begins: watching how people actually use it and deciding what to build next.

Why this works

  • Speed reduces risk. The faster you learn, the less you waste.
  • Real usage beats guesses. Assumptions are cheap; user behavior is truth.
  • A good foundation scales. A well-built MVP becomes v1, not landfill.
